Product Review of my Bebe Shea'loe (Homemade Shealoe)

Hey All!

As most of you know on my home forum BHP, we did Secret Santa. I had trouble finding the other items listed on my SS's list, so I substituted (Lol).

Here is what I sent her.

I was already about to make my own batch, until it dawned on me that I could send her some too! I am really glad I did, because it turns out that she liked it. I am too proud, over here, and yes I call it Bebe Shea'loe, because it sounds like name, and the Bebe gave it a nice ring. (LOL)

"I tried Naomi's shealoe to twist my hair earlier this week. Overall my hair loved it! I started with the front of my head and I noticed how well my dry ends absorbed the shealoe. It left my twists with a neater, shinier look than I've EVER had. The only downfall is that after twisting for hours and hours, I had the container open as I used it and I let too much air  This changed the consistency of the shealoe so I had to switch to SM Curl Enhancing Smoothing for the back. But the front is soooo on point! I finished my twists Wednesday and they are holding up really well and still look nice and neat. I owe that all to the shealoe!!"

Here are her results

"Naomi, you should really look in to selling your shealoe!"

For those curious as to how I made it. I used blender to whip, and the ingredients list goes as

Ingredients: Shea Butter, Aloe Vera Gel, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and Jamaican Black Castor Oil.

I love it myself, but it feels great to know that it works for someone else too; especially because we are not the same hair type.  I am taking orders :) Oh please look out next month for her feature in February!!! Also if you would like to be featured next month please send me an email at beautifulkinks@gmail.com.

Feature February!

Hey All!

I have not been posting really because I figured that I had nothing to post about; that is until my lovely sister suggested I post pictures of the styles I have been doing with my Yarn braids. So whenever I do something new or cute, I will be posting.

In other news, I will start doing Features! Since I will be showing my styles, why not share the stories and styles of all you other Kinkies out there! My first feature will be a special surprise guest.

If you would like to be featured on my blog please email  me at beautifulkinks@gmail.com, with the subject line Feature February. I would like to do 1-2 features a week. If possible please send pictures of your hair when you first BC'ed (Big Chopped), and (if you transitioning) your hair now.though the more pics the merrier! In the body of the email just state where you're from, whether you follow Andre or LOIS system, and if so, what do you classify your hair as.

I will try to vary the questions I ask, so once I get your info, then I will send your questions, and we will will take it from there!

Happy New Years!

Hey All!

I know I am 5 days late, but I wanted to Happy New Year anyway! (Lol) In my defense, I think you can say it until the second week of January (LOL). I hope everyone enjoyed their New Years Eve. I got to enjoy some fireworks off by the Harbor, so that was nice, other than that I cuddled up. Next year, I am partying!

As for hair plans...I have none! Usually I would be leading some kind of challenge on BHP, but I am not sure if I have it in me this year. I want to, but there is a deadline, we will see. I will have these Yarn Braids until February. Everything is up in the air from that point on. I would like to get back to hairdrenaline for growth, but even that has become a chore.

Crossing my fingers for a recovery in my attitude towards hair this year!
