Happy New Year!

Hey All!

I am a day late but I'd like to wish you guys a very Happy New Year! I attempted to go Times Square to watch the ball drop, but crowd was way too intense for my liking (lol) Settled for going to a Korean ball and getting back in time to watch the ball....but this time, on tv.

This has been quite the eventful year for me with me moving and starting college. Compared to 2012, 2013 I treated my hair with much more care, I got into a regimen, colored my hair, discovered some bald spot friendly styles (lol). The Havana Twists I installed have lasted me the holidays and I have got to admit that I am a bit nervous about "dealng" with my hair again, horrible I know.(lol) I have marked Sunday as my hair day, which is comfortale since it has always been a wash day for me. I'll more than likely share that with you all.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed your holiday, will enjoy the new year, and get into you HHJ in 2014!

Merry Christmas!

Hey All!

I'm pretty bah humbug this Christmas. The Grinch.stole my wallet...literally. I have to replace all my cards wait for money to be refunded to my account because whoever found it treated themselves to a 30 day metro card. I didn't get a chance too finish Christmas shopping, so gifts will be given late.

I hope you all holiday is going much better than mine! (lol)  I'm hoping late breakfast and 'A Nightmare Before Christmas' gets me in spirit! Hold your family close and enjoy the love they bring!

Happy Halloween!

Hey All!

I know I have not been posting as much I usual, but that is because I have not been doing my hair as much as usual! (Lol) I have been terrible! I swear I am trying to get back into the whole regimen thing. I am trying a new growth aide as we speak, I will get into that next post, which will be very soon! I am hoping to put up pictures as well. Some drama ensued before even using it (Lol)  but I will save that for later. For now to all my beautiful kinkies and kinkettes ...

I hope all of you have your hair and costume's ready for that Halloween party tonight, or are getting the kids together for trick-or-treating, but if you are anything like me, boring and childless (LOL) you will be at home trying to find something scary to watch. Happy Mother's Day!

Goodies!

Hey all,

I have got nothing to report hair wise, I have just been bunning, and doing other simple styles, following my regimen, but today I got a surprise!

I got a Secret Santa gift! On BHP, for the first time, we did Secret Santa, and everyone was given a pal to send a gift to. We all wrote a list of things we wanted, and the secret santa could pick from the list and send the gift. I received mine today.

One of my gifts I am super excited to try is, Aphogee Keratin & Green Tea Reconstructurizer. It can be used as a leave in, and heat protectant. I will not be trying this until these braids come out, but it has been something I have been wanting to try since forever. (Thanks again!)

There are a couple of other items I received in my gift box, that I have never tried before. So I will be reviewing those, along with the Aphogee Keratin.

I am hoping I can start doing give away's next year, and do a Christmas/Holiday gift basket. So we will see what the new year brings!
